Stress is one of the biggest problems in this era that everyone is facing. There are various things that can be useful for one to reduce the level of stress and Travelling is also one of the good methods to release stress because it gets one away from various problems. Travel helps one to combine travelling and healthy lifestyle at the same time because a healthy lifestyle is closely related to travelling as well as it is considered an essential element of developing the personality also. When someone plans a vacation it automatically keeps their mind off things which can stress them out because during travel planning one started dreaming about where they are going to and what will they do after reaching there.  This is also the way to take their mind off pressing issues that cause sleeplessness, high pressure and tension. However, for many people, vocations and simple weekend are part of their every year’s plans.

Apart from this,  travelling is also a great way to get families and couples to spend time together away from the everyday pressures of their lives. It is also good for people who like to travel solo. The simple act of getting away from hectic thing all helps people to reduce stress, whether it is for a day or a week.

To add on, travel can help one to enjoy fresh air and sunshine which is good for health as fresh air increases oxygen in the blood and in turn, gives more energy also. It is a mood elevator and can help people ward off depression. Play and relaxation are a perfect way to decrease tension. Whether one spends their time mountain climbing, riding a roller coaster, or just sitting on the beach, doing the things will surely assist one to relieve stress. To add on, when someone is on vocation, throw any schedules away. Sleep in, stay up late, do things when one wants to do the same. The whole point of travelling is get away from the daily schedule and put cell phones and laptop away if one is interested to experience total freedom from their daily routine

Besides this, employers in some countries know that travelling is a good method to release stress for their employees. Employees in these countries have very few vacation days each year and vacation time has been proven to wonders for productivity as well as improve health for employees.

Apart from this, studies also have proved that travelling is very important in work for many reasons like Improved performance at work, If they are tired it is hard to keep motivation levels high. While they may enjoy their job, they also need time to relax and play. Travel can do that for the mind and body as it is like recharging the mental batteries. Moving forward, work after travelling the performance level will be higher than they were prior to the vocation.  It is clear that travel is related to good health and mind because everyone is aware that a healthy mind lives in a healthy body.
